Sciencephiles are driven by curiosity, creativity, and discovery in all fields, including physics, biology, astronomy, and technology. A Sciencephile is an olympiad which can be an stirring event designed for individuals passionate about science. It can be conducted in different formats, including quizzes, research presentations, innovation competitions, or practical experiments. The competition seeks to evaluate participants’ scientific knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while fostering a passion for discovery.

The Notre Dame Science Club launched its 2024-2025 session with an exciting Olympiad type competition called Sciencephile, organized by the science club organizers & executive panel. This competition was primarily a quiz focused on Physics, Chemistry, Math, ICT and Biology, with a total of twenty questions- five from each subject. The quiz was relatively easy for students with a basic understanding of intermediate-level science. To recognize excellence, the top three participants received awards in the recent orientation of Notre Dame Science Club for their performance in Sciencephile. They are:-

1.Saiful Islam (12602102)
2.Md. Ahnaf Kamal (12603114)
3.Fateen Abtahi (12606027)

Initially, it began as an internal club activity, but over time, it has gained significant recognition among students. This event fosters a deep and passionate curiosity for science, encouraging participants to enhance their skills while refining their creativity and critical thinking. The Olympiad presents challenging questions to identify truly talented and knowledge-driven students.
